What is Online Coaching?

PowerliftingOnline Coaching is for those* that are sick of not achieving their fitness goals and want the guidance of an experienced coach without having to pay exhorbitant personal training fees. Here at ATP, we specialise in helping you reach your strength goals. We have helped over  the various online coaching services we offer:

Upon signing up, clients will be given a questionnaire to be filled in. The information provided will enable the coach to customize the training program to the individual’s needs. After receiving all relevant information, the coach will design a training and/or nutrition plan and send it out. A video call will then be set up with the client to clarify any questions regarding the entire process.

The training is planned in phases, with every detail explained to the clients to maximize proper execution of the plan. Client progress is monitored weekly and adjusted through feedback, with constant contact between client and coach.

Online coaching includes:

– Comprehensive Feedback System

– Nutrition guides and resources

Being a noob, I started out wanting to give online coaching a try in hopes of improving myself and getting help with my technique as I started out my lifting journey.

2. What is one major issue that the ATP coaching service has helped you overcome?

1. Why did you decide to get online coaching?
I decided to get online coaching when I saw the mad progress made by Ashton under ATP Coach Clinton in 2018. My progress was stalling and there were many issues with my form and I really wanted to get to the next level.

2. What is one major issue that my coaching service has helped you overcome?
Laziness to train. I wasn’t really motivated to train as my progress was extremely slow. After the first few weeks of coaching, I felt way more confident and comfortable with the big 3 movements. In the process of changing my mindset, we also managed to achieve massive PRs!

3. How has your experience been with ATP thus far?
So far the experience has been really good. The workouts are hard but manageable and really build up the confidence in all of the lifts. Coach is always there to help(fast response). Accumulation is hell but in ATP and Clinton we trust.

1. Why did you decide to get online coaching?
I was not getting the results I want from online programs. Yes I may be getting stronger, but I have no feedback whatsoever. I needed a relatively unbiased feedback along with good programming from a knowledgeable coach.

2. What is one major issue that my coaching service has helped you overcome?
ATP has helped me significantly in terms of specialized programming and fixed tons of my technical issues that I face when lifting. One example would be rounding of my back in the squat due to excessive hip rise. My coach has helped me tackle this issue and allow me to gain back my confidence in breaking PRs.

3. How has your experience been with Atlas thus far?
Nothing but positive, not only can you learn from the coaches but also from fellow team members of ATP.

1. Why did you decide to get online coaching?
I was hitting a major plateau for all my lifts, had terrible form and was straining myself here and there. I decided i did not want to risk a major injury hence seeked help from coaching.

2. What is one major issue that my coaching service has helped you overcome?
I feel that most importantly, my technique in executing movements and how to make use of various muscle groups. This means i can execute lifts efficiently and build proper gains while keeping injury risk at the lowest possible.

1. Why did you decide to get online coaching?
I had been training on my own for some time and decided to get online coaching from Clinton to refine my technique and to have someone with more knowledge and experience programming my training.

2. What is one major issue that my coaching service has helped you overcome?
I had hip pain plaguing me whenever I did sumo deadlifts, but thanks to Clinton it doesn’t affect me anymore! I’m really thankful for all the time and effort he spent helping me overcome it – looking at my form, teaching me the basics and refining my technique again and again until it got better. 1. Why did you decide to get online coaching?
Hi I’m Joshua a sec 3 student! I was lifting for about 4 months before going under ATP.
I went under Clinton about a year ago after training under him at Elevate. I decided to get online coaching knowing I had very little knowledge on lifting and programming, as well as knowing that Clinton had a lot experience and getting online training from him would allow for more flexibility in training time due to student commitments.

2. What is one major issue that my coaching service has helped you overcome?
Under Clinton’s coaching, he has definitely helped my overcome more than 1 issue. Through Clinton’s flexible programming, he has definitely helped me keep motivated to keep training even if I am short on time and days to train. Along with keeping me motivated to train, he has helped me get healthier as well through being able to have consistent training. I also used to have lower confidence, but have learnt how to translate my confidence of getting under the bar into my daily life!

3. How has your experience been with ATP thus far?
Having been under ATP for almost a year, I can say without doubt I’ve had a good experience with them! From the constant support to effective training. Being under ATP has allowed me to train better with receiving programmes on time and programs that change accordingly to feedback like fatigue or available training days!
